    All depends on 75 decibels though, and that’s a bit of a worry. I would hope that a more sensitive option be made available especially in the likelihood of the alarm not being a ringing noise!

  2. Point well made Jason, but just to put your mind at ease, it’s technology for the the commercial industry, where fire alarms are likely to reach that decibel level.

    Deafgard X is another solution, allowing sensors to be wired directly into the fire alarm system or to act completely wirelessly (set within close proximity to an alarm), sending out signals to all Deafgard alarms and triggering them.
